3 people identified Sunday after being found dead in Vance County home Saturday

A death investigation is underway Saturday night in Vance County after three people were found dead inside a home.

HENDERSON, N.C. — A death investigation is underway Saturday night in Vance County after three people were found dead inside a home.

On Sunday, authorities identified the victims as 49-year-old Danielle Williams of Henderson, 25-year-old Tre'von Hargrove of Henderson and 47-year-old Juan Black of Louisburg.

The Vance County Sheriff's Office said they were called to a welfare check shortly after 4:30 p.m.

When they arrived, they discovered that all the people inside the home were dead. Authorities said Williams and Hargrove were the owners of the home on Abbott Road.

A woman on scene told WRAL News that two of those people were her sister and nephew.

She also said there was another man inside the home who was found dead.

Authorities said the deaths were an isolated incident, there is not threat to the public and it's currently under investigation.
