Snorkeler hospitalized after incident in pool at Cary Lifetime Fitness
A man is in critical condition after an attempt to snorkel in the pool at a Cary gym.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — A man is in critical condition after an attempt to snorkel in the pool at a Cary gym.
The emergency call to Lifetime Fitness, at 1700 Regency Parkway, came in just before 4:30 p.m.
Authorities said a man was snorkeling in the outdoor pool there, in about four feet of water, when others noticed that he was not breathing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cary Police Department at (919-469-4012). No further information is available at this time.
