Large law enforcement scene in Person County, SBI investigating

Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday closed part of Mount Harmony Church Road.

Officials at the scene shared few details about why there is a law enforcement presence, but Sheriff Jason Wilborn said the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the situation.

Wilborn said the road will be blocked for several hours while the investigation continues.
