Fort Jackson basic trainee dies after exercise
The news release said Wynn "became unresponsive during structured and disciplined pickup." She was given life-saving measures then declared dead at 2:30 p.m. at the local hospital.
According to the release, Pfc. Veronica L. Wynn, 39, was a basic combat training trainee from the 3rd Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment.
